So I want to get my rearsets powdercoated matte black and I'm wondering if there is any special way to take them off or anything I need to make sure I do.

or is it basically a simple unbolt job? thanks.

Use a hex bit socket instead of a normal allen wrench or somethin...

then you can unbolt the rearsets fairly easily. After that its up to you what you wanna take apart and whatever. When i sent mine in to get powdercoated, i didnt take them apart at all. Just sent him my rear sets, bolts, and shift shaft.

When you put them back in after powdercoating, use locktite so they dont come undone

Heres what mine look like...
