bike wouldnt hold a charge so i replaced stator.after i replaced the stator, the bike wouldnt start cuz the battery was low so i jump started it.voltage was sitting at 12.0, rev the engine and stood at 13.5. i turned off the bike and it wouldnt start anymore like if the battery is low again. do i have to charge the battery to get the full results? before i replaced the stator it would only stay at 12.0 when i rev to 5k. so does it mean its fixed?

yes. typically the battery needs to be fairly well charged to get to 14vt holding 5k rpm after starting. Or, it will take a long time in some cases. 12vt standing charge is a 25% charge or so.. Not very good.

12.45vt is about a 75% charge. 12.7vt is pretty much fully charged. Sounding like the battery could be toast.
