I am installing a new screen right now and I wanted to mchange the AUX bulb in the process, but... I can't seem to figure out how to take it out. I took out the top rubber plag and took out a screw. What now? It doesn't just come out.

yeah it does, it pulls straight out, it took me a minute to get mine out this weekend too but it does in fact pull out straight towards you. It helps if you pull the fairings a little to give it a little something extra.

+ 1 ^ I just recently switched out the auxillary bulb on my 06 r6 and its really simple. remove the windscreen, remove the rubber plug, remove screw.

I used a thin putty knife , something with a flat edge pops that sucker right out.

Is it the same for the 08. I cant seem to get to the globe once i have the windscreen off

is it an LED or a Bulb. I have an 07, and i would like to make it red, i plan on getting red angel eyes and think it would look pretty sweet with the center being red

08's dont have the light. I had to install a light in there myself. You have to take both fairings off and the whole front end to get to it. Its a pain in the arss the first time you do it.

The Australian model comes from the factory with the light. I am trying to change mine to a blue LED but cant get to the globe. Its eclosed in the casing.
