every single day almost every rider i see on a sport bike has his elbows locked and back straight with his heels on the pegs and feet hanging off the pegs. dont people want to ride the bike? how do you ride that way. you cant feel what the front wheel is doing and you cant really move around with your feet that way. any and every read will say the first thing one must figure out is how to sit on the bike and hold on properly. for anybody who does not know. . back slightly arched, elbows bent, gentle grip and get the balls of your feet on the pegs and the bike is so much easier to actually ride...

Absolutely! I just changed over to my running with the balls of my feet on the pegs and it makes a huge difference.

Running that way though I also moved to a GP shifting pattern. That and clutchless shifting make gear changes lightning fast and sooo smooth.
