I could not find any posts in the history for this so here goes. I need to replace my rear tire on my 06 r6. I purchased a new rim tire combo on ebay.
I have a few questions.

What is the size of the rear axle nut? I do have the tool kit but would like to buy a socket bit.

What size star socket is used to remove the rear rotor?

Does it matter if a different rotor is used?

Thanx guys

The rear axle nut is a 32mm. not sure on the torx bit size for the rotor. But its best if you buy a complete metric torx set anyway. Compare rotors, they should be the same though as long as the bolt patterns are the same.

The rear pad and rotor do put wear patterns on each other and by switching rotors you will increase the wear of the pad. Now granted, normal people change thier rear pad every like 20000 miles, so having to do it every 15000 miles isn't a big deal. I would say go ahead and use different rotors.
