Today was my first time ever riveting a master link, so I wanna make sure that I did it right.

How does it look, safe to ride with at least lol? I wish it came with a colored master link. Would it be ok to pop off one of the plates from a link that I took off and use it in place of the plate for the master link? I may get a new master link if that will work ok, or try to find an orange one.

explain to me how you did it exactly. Ive been looking how to rivet chains so i'd know how. Did you just press it on and use the tool to mushroom it? Looks like some grease in between the the two holes and plate?

Basically just followed the instructions with the master link and the riveting tool. I can add some pictures when I get back home of the whole process if anyone wants.
