This is really easy. Just buy a medium sized hose clamp.


Thighten it around your filter. Keep the screw toward the back and head facing down.


Wrap a piece of wire around the screw mount on the hose clamp.


Run the wire toward the fron of the bike. There is a bracket you can loop the wire through and then twist this end.


You should end up like this.

not laughing at you bro, laughing with you since you're handling it really well! But that is exactly why they are supposed to be safety wired on track days.

so basicly it keeps your oil filter from loosening itself and spilling oil. i might do that one of these days. thanks for the easy trick dj.

k & n oil filters have pre-drilled holes for safety wiring. just my 2 cents.
