Scandinavian Brake Systems pads are available in four compounds to suit your Triumph’s braking needs. We’ve used SBS brake pads in our racebikes for some time and have always been pleased with the results.

StreetExcel Sintered Metal brake pads are designed specifically for street riding and have the highest friction coefficient in the SBS line up for maximum power with minimal effort at the lever. Perfect for a road-going YZF-R6.

Racing Sintered Metal brake pads are designed to work best when rotor temperatures are above 300˚F – perfect for trackday and stunt applications.

Racing Dual Carbon brake pads are Plarp’s preferred stopping compound as they have proven to be long-lasting and very effective with minimal fade over the life of a race. In fact, they seem to stop better the hotter the rotors get. With hardly any bedding required, great initial bite and long pad life, these are an excellent choice for the budget-minded racer or fast-group trackday rider.

Dual Sinter Racing brake pads are at the top end of SBS’s brake pad lineup. These pads have incredible initial bite, excellent modulation and withstand heat exceptionally well (ie very little fade). No one complained about the braking power of our YZF-R1 racebike with these installed.

If you’re unsure of what brake pads you need, call TJ at 866.931.6644 ext 817 and he will help you decide what brake pads are best for your application. You may also email your questions to R6 at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM for expert brake pad guidance.
