Scorpio SR-i900 Security Alarm

I am interested in installing a security system on my bike. I live in the city and really don't trust anyone. Anyways I have landed on the Scorpio i900 system http://scorpioalarms.com/products/motorcycle/sr-i900/ and am wondering if I should buy the wire harness (is there much wire splicing involved?) and is the REMOTE IGNITION DISABLE worth the $30.

Also if anyone lives in an urban area, do you worry about your bike much?

Go for it, I have the Gorilla (go with the scorpio) and if anything it keeps people from touching/ sitting on the bike, I mean there is no real way of making sure no one steals it unless you keep it in your garage 24/7 if some one wants it they will run off with it while the alarm is going off but it should deter most people.
Ebay has them with all the add ons and wiring harness shipped for around $380. If you don't need to cut the harness, then don't. It's not worth cutting it. The only plus of splicing it in, is that a thief would have a harder time taking it out once they already have your bike.
personally I think youre better off spending your money on a tracking device for the bike. Once the alarm goes off and the bike is gone, you still are in the same place as if youd never had the alarm in the first place. Tracking devices are around the same price, but will allow you to FIND the bike after being stolen. Who actually pays attention to car alarms anyways?!?!

that's a good point. any links you recommend?
or get the scorpio and theft insurance. cause lo-jack is gonna end up gettin your ragged out, partially parted out bike, back! i wouldnt want my bike back after some goons ripped it. rather just take the theft check
I would rather have the alarm. Both have their pros and cons like mentioned above. If they find your bike its probably going to be in a ditch within the first 30 min. or chopped up. Get the alarm, it would deter most people and reduce the chance that it gets jacked in the first place. And when your in the bar or where ever and some dousche wants to sit on your shit, you can immediately kick his ass.
