Since I bought my used 2003 R6 the shift lever has been set really high. When i went to adjust it, it started catching on the kickstand spring when I downshifted (I think the lever is bent). So I bent it back out a little bit, and I took the rubber sleeve off the kickstand to give it that extra 1/8" of clearance. Is there any reason removing that sleeve is a bad idea?
