I hava a SHOEI Z-II and i think it may be too big.

It is fine riding around the streets and reasonable speeds on the highway. (Very comfortable)

At about 130-140 it starts to press against my mouth. Has anyone ever replaced cheek pads with a different size? The whole interior of the helmet is removable so I'm sure there is something I can do.

OR

Should i just expect the helmet to prass against my face at such speeds?

I don't think your helmet should move around at any speed. I had a KBC VR-1 helmet and the pads wore down really quick. So I started wearing a "Do" rag underneath. That helped a lot. Then I got a Shoei Pyro. As is well now. I would suggest getting some thicker pads. Your dealer can order them.

I heard it should be tight but not uncomfortable. If you try to smile you should do a fish face. Also never let someone else stick there head in your helmet. To a certain extent your helmet will mould to your head. Letting others with abnormal heads wear your helmet will ruin this fit.
