Shoei X-11????

I've ridden with the Shoei X-11 for about 6 months now ... using the "stupid dragon" graphic ... Well I like it at least

Honestly, its the best helmet I've ever worn / will wear. It's like going from dial up modem to DSL.. Once you use it, you'll never want to go back. Furthermore, protection is A+++. High sided into a ditch at 60 mph and didnt feel a darn thing, but im sure most helmets out there that are DOT/SNELL approved are well protected.

One problem i had with the X-11 was that at some certain angles you hear a whistling noise ... I'm not sure if it was my helmet particularly but I'll find out when i get my next X-11 comes in :toocool:


P.S. I've tried other helmets after my X-11 (RF-1000, Arai, etc...) Nothing felt as good as the X-11 ... but you know what they say ... Gotta test it out yourself

the X11 is a top quality helmet, but not everyone has a Shoei shaped head.
if u want a top of the line helmet, u should really consider all makers of top quality lids.
there is Arai, AGV, Shark, Shoei, and Suomy, there are others, but these 5 are the most popular and also used in Moto GP.
all of them bring awesome features to the table.

Suomy is very light and has insane graphics and vent well, but are loud inside.
Arai is one of the most comfortable and vent well, but they have more plain graphics and are also loud.
Shoei, the x11 is supposed to be the best ventilating lid on the market its also pretty quiet compared to the others, but its a bit heavier than the others and has the most generic graphics.
Shark is just as light as suomy, and has awesome vents while being still quieter inside than many others.
AGV has some sick graphics and are light but i dont know as much about them, but the Rossi lids are crazy.

try them all on if u can and make your choice based on fit 1st, then look into what u really want out of your helmet.

i own an Arai RX7 corsair, Shark RSI, and KBC VR2, the shark is my new favorite lid, its wicked light, and has a sweet face shield design.
