I was wondering if any one has gone from a regular clutch on a 03-05 r6 to a slipper clutch? I just hit 44,000 miles and I felt my clutch slip the other day when I was racing. I have been taking it easy since and hope it will last till I leave for my deployment. I will replace it when I get back just wanted to know if any one has done this and if it's worth it. I don't ride at the track just back and forth to work and weekends around where ever. Any help would be great thanks.

If you're not on the track, its not worth it. A stock replacement clutch will cost ~200 bucks. A slipper clutch addon will be almost a grand, and will only help when downshifting fast and braking hard into corners. Its alot of money to spend on a commuter.
