I know that cars can have misalinged wheels which in turn wears the tires prematurely and it also affects steering. My bike took a hard hit to the right side at about 20 mph and it ended up sliding into a curb...front end first.

My questions are:

Can bikes have misaligned wheels???

What should I look for in regards to the forks and handlebars...or in general, any of the components that involve steering?

I'm taking the bike to a dealership for a safety inspection but I'd like a little more back ground info before I go in.
