Okay so I need to rant a bit....
I bought a Vortex upper triple clamp from Sum of All Parts a month ago on Ebay. I received it within 3 days. I open the box and here is a Vortex large case cover instead. I call them the next day and tell them the problem.... So they Email me a shipping label and I shipped it back. I couldn't pass up the price of $82 with shipping. SO I waited about a week and never received it.
I have been calling them numerous times the past 2 weeks and they keep telling me that Vortex has drop shipped it from their warehouse and they would contact Vortex to see what was up. I call back a few days later and still no answer to whats going on.
I got tired of trying to deal with them so I called Vortex direct and gave them my name and they have no record of it and needed a PO number. They also said they no longer make the triple clamps and that they discontinued them a long time ago so I asked why they were still listed on the website then? They said because they made TONS of them and have alot leftover they are still selling.
I tried calling Sum of All Parts back, but have been getting nothing but a recording the past few days that says "Sorry, but we are moving our warehouse from Austin, Texas to Redwood City California and this is only a temporary message...."
I'm just really pissed off because my bike has been sitting for 10 months and this was the last part I needed to get it back on the road and I've been doing nothing but waiting.......
I could have just filed a claim with PayPal and got my money back and got an OEM one, but for the same price I can get the Vortex one. Guess I'll wait some more....

That sucks man. I've dealt with them a couple of times and never really had any problems. It could be because they're moving, but who knows.

Maybe it is because theyre moving, because ive always had really good service from them.I think they may be having issues with their warehouse as well because i ordered a smoke PUIG DB for the 10R last week and got an email the next day saying the warehouse was out of stock but had every other color. i just cancelled my order and went to 58cycle.

I've never had any trouble with Sum of all Parts. I can only guess that it's because they are moving. You know how hard it is to move from one apartment to another? Now try to imagine doing that with a 10,000+ square foot warehouse...

Welll I finally received it today. It came straight from Vortex and on the packing list it said it was shipped on the 24th. So obviously there was a communication problem somewhere between Vortex and Sum of All Parts....
I'm happy as can be now. Hope to have the 6 on the road this weekend!!!!

I just got a job with Sum of all parts and I can say that they have been crazy busy with the whole move. I work at the customer service center so if you ever have a problem again, PM me and I will personally take care of it. They havnt had anyone to respond to voicemails, emails, online orders etc... I hope you dont let that be the last time you do business with us. PM me if you have any questions.
