Won't damage the paint?
I have NEVER damaged paint with goo gone.

1) hair dryer or sun
2) peel off sticker
3) remove remaining glue with goo gone.

i have seen damaged paint with goo gone, but the 'tard was using a towel that was like sandpaper. a regular cotton terry cloth or a microfiber is fine.

Air grinder. Works 100% of the time!

Safety Note: Wear goggles and gloves. Remove gas from tank prior to grinding.

Dude....you don't need to go out and get goo-gone. Leave the bike outside for like 1/2hour till the tank warms up in the sun. Simply peel and use any old car paint polish or wax to get the excess residue off.
