Anyone know a cheap and easy way to set-up a safe stand so that I can take my rear wheel off (flat tire) to take it and get a new tire mounted?

Oh and while I'm at it, does anyone know if the factory Yamaha warranty covers flat tires? Like a road hazard thing or something?

if you have warranty for tires rhan yes. call and ask for sure.
i dont know about a stand though.

I have seen people use a jack stand under each swingarm before, never done this myself though.

you could try something like this. i believe this is Jasamb's bike. he had jack stands under the swing arm with some rags.
