So I have an 06 R6 and I want to take off my converter. Im a fabricator so im not worried about welding and what not. So i want to cut off the converter and weld a 2 to 1 tube, then a straight tube to that which goes to the slip on. I want to put the O2 sensor somewhere on the straight tube.

But will anything happen to my computer?
Or does anyone have a header that will fit for a cheap price?

Ive done what you are talking about to my 07 R6. As long as you put the O2 sensor back in it will be ok. I havent had any problems out of mine and it sounds great! Just make you a 2-1 midpipe and weld it on. But out the cats in your headed after you cut off the catalatic converter. its not hard to do at all. Then make your Y pipe and weld it on. Youll want to mock it up so it comes out at the exact spot where your converter pipe ends and at the same angle as the converter. Everyone else will tell you that youll need to run a PC3 but I dont have one and mine runs fine. But I plan to get one in the future when I have the money and get K&N Filter too! Anyway Good Luck!!
