Mind is an 03 and I got the regular universal. Works great for what I use it for. Not as stables as other but I get the bike on both stands by myself and it is great for cleaning the chain and the rims.

Universal for '03-'04 R6's

Offset front '99-'02

I'd get the bobbin support too and get some spools for your swingarm

Yeah, boobin support is cool. Much more stable.

How do the spools work. Do I need two or 4, I guess you just stick the spool in on the left side, but what do you do with the right, just leave it as is?

What size (mm) spools do I need. 8? Also what brand are those
Mind are shogun and they are kind of big. The boobin with the stand can be adjusted to support any spool size so go with the smallest that you can get so it wouldn't show or stickout too much.

i got big spools made of delrin that also serve as swingarm sliders off of ebay, they worked good in my unfortunate testing of them

2001. I got the L shaped rubber thingys on the rear stand so that I wouldn't have to add spools to my swingarm. Front just slips under the fork tubes. Works perfectly.

In case any of you guys buy spools, Yamaha's take the 6mm size, but if you wish, you can drill and tap them out to use the big/stronger 8mm.
