I have an 06 R6 it hasn't been ridden much in the past few months...
:dunce:
after not being started at all for over a month the battery died, I had a friend
charge it with a charger but didn't put it back in the bike for like 2 weeks, when
I finally did it started it up fine I turned it off then it strained to start and wouldn't turn over.

Should I jump it ride it off, ride it and let the alternator charge it up again or just replace it?

These batteries are pretty expensive any opinions would be appreciated, thanks

Im not sure exactly what u should do about your battery, buy you are right when it comes to a new one being expensive. Because they're gel packed batteries, and when i bought mine the lady told me that just this year those batteries went up like 25%. i think i paid around $130 for mine!!

115 euros for a new battery at Greece, jump starting it or w/e won't give any results, you 'll eventually get tired of it and buy a new one.
Just take the decision to replace it.Same symptoms for mine when the battery was dead.

Yamaha or some other salesman is gonna get your money, but your baby will be in perfect shape with a new battery ^_^
