Does it help with the bogginess that the bike has when taking off from a stop?

I do not have the conversion but I do have a good understanding of the concept and the answer is yes. I am not saying that it will take off like a liter bike but the sprocket will surely make up for the lack of torque at lower RPMs. Now keep in mind this will lower your top speed.. but who needs to go 160... and also this will throw off your mph. I am not sure if the stealership can adjust it in the computer or not.

A speedohealer should fix that problem but they seem like a pain in the arse to install & configure.

If you looking for a cheap mod that will give you a very noticeable boost off the line it's the -1+2 conversion.

It will however lower your top speed by a few MPH and raise your RPM's up some too.

The speedo will be off by about 15% with this mod but a speedohealer will correct this. Your bike come fresh out of the crate brand new with a 10% speedometer malfunction so a speedohealer is warranted even without the conversion.
