I was on my way home at like 12:30 at night when a deer jumped out in front of me as i went around a corner. I hit the deer around 65mph in the flank, ripping it in half. The bike slid a while so did I... after about 5seconds the bike caught on fire. Now what the hell do i do with my burnt up bike i only had liability on it so i am screwed. Is there any way i can part it out or some thing? Are any of the parts good, did it get to hot? (also looking for another bike) ill post some pictures when I get a chance.

Ah man that sucks so bad dude, sorry to hear about your loss. There are so many deer around where I live and I am terrified of hitting one. Was the deer pretty big?

It probably caught fire due to the gas tank rupturing, 06 and 07 models have a flaw in that department. Glad you're okay and you say the deer was ripped in half?!?!? :eek5

Dam Dude... Sorry about the bike -- It looks like you are screwed.. Did you take the deer meat home at least.. I would be eating his ass for jacking up my bike....
I have a idea - U might be able to increase your coverage - Its going to take some time but that would be your best bet..

Go get that Deer or another and makes some meat out of him or put him on the wall in memory of the bike... The R6 demands revenge for this... Dam it man....

lol i live in arkansas one of the fire guys took the deer right after they put my bike out and the cop took photos

But as far as being covered and salavged parts, sounds like your beat. Liability doesnt cover this, and if its anything like how mine burnt, i highly doubt anything survived.
heres what mine looked like sitting in the impound (btw, get your bike outta there as fast as you can if you dont want to pay for storage fees and that)
