I am able to power up a very low wheelie on my R6 but I have a heck of a time convincing myself that its ok to let it come up higher. I've clutched up a few but they only end up being bunny hops because I get out of the gas as soon as the front jerks up. I can ride out a powered low wheelie through first but my brain wont let me go any higher! :curse Any tips on getting over this fear?

practice, don't try to go big right away. just keep going a little bit more at a time. cover your rear brake too.

i dont get why you should cover your rear brake... because as soon as you cut the gas a bit, the front will come down.. same thing if you hit the clutch

if you get it past the pivot point, cutting the throttle is going to be too late. but hitting the rear brake will pull the front end down. i know some guys will even ride the rear brake while wheelying for better control.

video tape yourself, then you see how low you are, and then you are more confident!
