Does anyone know if the VFX Universal Pivot kit requires any cutting/drilling for the 01/02 model years? I would just measure myself but my bike is at home and i'm at school so I can't check it out.

I do not have a 02 but i wouldn't think that you would have to cut anything. I would think that the company would create a product that was bolt on applications. I know this doesn't help but why not call the company to make sure. They will know best.

i think you would be happier with the R6 pivot kit.

you would have to drill holes for the universal ones. I did all the research on it before i purchase mine. I ended up buying the R6 ones. I didn't want extra holes in my fairings

are you sure you have to drill the bike? is their no way of adapting the plate? i dont want to pay the etra for the r6 ones as i dont want the Led'S

Yes you would have to redrill your fairings to get the universal kit to fit properly

aw i will just have to pay for the proper kit and by the r6 specific kit.
