Holy crap i thought it was me, I have the same jacket and my bike looks just like yours.
yea jacket is nice, leather is great and stitching is awesome on it
you need to get more miles under your belt. you dont look comfortable at all on the bike.
thats the weird thing i feel comfortable riding around just always concentrated on my surroundings

edit: got around 1000 miles on the bike that are from me
You know.... at first I was very scared... then I started leaning more, forcing myself even if I was scared. going slow of course but just seeing how the bike would lean and showing myself that i was not going to fall....
trying to corner with jeans on i wouldnt recomend, your skill will come with time, make sure you have decent tyres on also..maybe if you want to boost your learning curve u could book yourself into some coarses instead of spending the money on things like a dampner that wouldnt really have much benifit for you at this time anyway..

cheers.

is it ok to force the bike to lean more then necessary when going slow? wouldnt that lowside it? i thought speed and lean angle connect with one another?

smiddy: what can i wear thats rather safer then jeans(other then leather, not a big leather pants person) i thought denim was tough also?

jeans will shred asoon as u hit the road, umm dragon jeans i supose would be the next best thing, if u plan 2 become a fast pace road rider i would get over the not wearing leather look lol, their is some nice leathers out their, unfortunitly their not cheap lol.
Cool vid, take it slow and it will eventually come...don't rush it or you will get hurt. :fact:D

careful at those speeds though, from watching your video if you approach a turn at 100+ you might be in some deep shit.

Only advice I can give you is, look where you want to go (through the turn) as most say. If you look at what you think you'll hit (target fixation) you're going to hit it...trust me.
Ok, first of all, get a better camera :D

Second, invest in some leathers that zip up to your jacket and get some boots if you havn't allready. That will help so much in terms of confidence.

Third,
Dont worry about how far you are leaning over. SEAT TIME. SEAT TIME. SEAT TIME.
Confidence will come as you stay sharp and work on your comfort level.

What tires do you have? I switched to Michelin Pilot power 2CT's and ever since then I have been so much smoother which in return = faster.

Go buy Twist of the wrist II if you are a book person. Otherwise, go on as many group rides as possible as long as they are skilled, ATGATT riders (All the gear, all the time)

SEAT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats probably the best advice i know lol, i always look through the turn, i went down once, cause of target fixation and panicing, ever since that, i have looked through the turn, also, im ok taking highway sweeps at fast speeds, like on one of the highways here speed limit is 55, there is a sweep left that i take at 85, and im fine.

heh, i got pilot powers

thinkin of what pants i can get, cause my jacket does have a zipper on it for pants, but since its joe rocket i think it may only be compatible with joe rocket?

and by seat time, you mean how long ive been riding for?
You haven't had a bug or rock hit you in the eye yet? That sheild is your friend. Couldn't tell if it was down once you started turning.

Best advice I can give you is trust your bike. It will give you feedback with a little time to make corrections. What ever you do, don't overshoot a turn and don't brake in a turn. Confidence will come, but it looks like your still unsure. A 1,000 miles doesn't mean much if they were straight miles. Give it time and you will become more in touch with your bike.

Pilot powers 2CTS are better then pilot powers. I ran 3 sets of regular pilot powers before switching. The sidewalls are softer.

Check out your local Cyclegear for pants. I personally have these and like them.

Alpinestar track pants

They should be universal

Seat time means put more miles under your belt. It helps so much to know what your bike can do and cant do and only more exp. can show you that.

yeah a good pair of riding gear are important!!! I feel insecure riding just wearing flimsy sneakers. Im afraid if I spill, Im gonna break my ankle or foot or both. The proper gear defiantely helps your confidence level

actually i have lol and it was under my eye lid till i got home and washed it out haha, yea i put my shield down when riding most of the time, and it was down during the turns... no rocks yet tho thank got hehehe

redwood: im looking at these for street riding, what do you think?

http://www.superbiketoystore.com/sport/shop.php/riding-pants/joe-rocket-alter-ego-pant/p_383.html

i think they will attach to my jacket i have on in the video since they are joe rocket also...

as for 2cts, i dont lean that far over yet heh, i doubt i would hit the softer compound until im at least almost at knee down point...

i try to ride as much as i could and every day i try to progress...
