i had the same problem when i swapped mine out. you have an exhaust leak. i used my stock gaskets, as they were still in great condition. you can replace them as there not expensive at all.

go back in there make sure they are seated properly. but since you were able to get the headers screwed in, you may need new ones. hit up a place to get some new gaskets. i had the exact sound where it sounded like a freaking V-Twin Harley.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I was able to fix the exhaust leak by tightening up the bolts. Glad I didn't have to replace the gaskets. Thanks again everyone.

The header nuts should only be torqued to about 15 ft/lb if you're tightening them beyond that to get rid of the noise that may not be a good idea.
