Hey guys, I keep hearing about frame sliders... what are they? And how much (and what kind) is a good steering dampener?

Wo, what the heck does the steering dampener do, and what's a tank slapper? And that's what frame sliders do and are? They look horrid (I know, but they protect your bike). Are there different kinds? And how much does this stuff cost by the way?

Do you have to cut the hole, or do all bikes have a space for them? And on top of that, how do they attach, they must have a special screw hole right? Thanks for the link, and answers guys by the way.

Hey dang it. That wasn't my fault about asking the slider question over and over again. It was a faulty post, and the "Hey DJ" post was for something else. I don't know how and the heck it got like that. Error...

P.S. I do have the manual, but I just wanted second opinions from you guys on how you guys might do it. Is there any better ways than the manual?
