Hey guys first time making a post so my apologies if I am under the wrong discussion. But I recently bought this 2003 Yamaha r6, I took a look around and everything looked good. Once I brought it home and tried to turn it on the bike would just choke and not turn on. Then I noticed this odd aftermarket switch. It has 3 positions. From down neutral and up. When it’s down it doesn’t turn on but when it’s in neutral or up it turns on just fine and everything seems to work fine. Does anyone have any suggestions on what this may be. From what I can see the wires lead to the ignition. ( take a look at the photo for reference)
