What is this connector?

I don’t know what this connector is and would like to know. It sits next to the battery and isn’t used for anything

It being in the rear, I would guess that it's the license plate light except, that it's plugged. Amateurs that alter their bikes don't really do stuff like that. Fourth and maybe third gen bikes have an accessory/aux plug that looks like that however for fourth gen at least, that plug is up toward the front of the vehicle.

If you get 12v at key-on, that may be the license plate light.
Does it only get 12v when engine is started?

Thank you for the answer, I will test the voltage later.
You can also pull fuses to verify which circuit it's on. If you pull the fuse for the lights and it stops reading power for example...
