I went with the V's on my 01 r6. Pics are coming. I also have a "how to" article in my head on how to do it right. I fiberglassed the fairing hole in and painted the resin black. So now the blinker fits nicely on the side of the bike, no gaps at all. Nor can you see the resin.

These are the LP III's on my bike.....Excuse the spot of the upper fairing where it was dropped in a driveway before I bought it (have some stickers to cover that and the one on the mid up)...and the fingerprints all over the mids from installing the lights.......

Please tell me they are from the previous owner also :moon
Ya, the kid I bought it from was Canadian. Oddly enough from BC as well. Somewhere in the Fraser Valley I believe. He said thats how they all ride up there when I questioned him about it. Yes, I realize my pegs aren't all ground up and what not but perhaps if I had access to a road like the Sea to Sky, I could change all that......Noticed no pics of your tire to counter mine!

 Anyways, I forgot to mention that I have led inserts in my flushmount III's. Really rather simple to install and still cheaper than the greggs and more visible as well. Plus they have white running lights and amber flashers and it alternates between the two when blinking.

the inserts were $65 and the LP III's were $14 from custom led. it took more time to get them lined up even and level on the fairing than to get the inserts mounted inside the light.

Anyways, not that I have to defend myself or anything, but "chicken strips" you're seein are from all the shit my tire picked up from the floor in my garage while they were still warm from riding the previos time.

Pen, your bike is really coming along! And i still think that BF silver carbon is bad ass! I am still waiting for mine, still being made in Great Britain! Made-to-order carbon high mount!

And Hammy still offers the lowest price out there for the Blue Flames. Especially for a dualport carbon highmount![

That's a damn good idea Bravo! Make some sort of competition and maybe a huge prize at the specific date!
And whoever makes the idea of semi transparent plastics would be dope!
