I crashed my 06/07 r6 and my buddy has an 08 r6 tank he is going to sell me, does anyone know if it will fit?

According to another thread it should fit. The lines on it won't line up with the rest of the lines and you'll need the side panels from the 08 too.

Did you swap over all three tank panels with it? Did you put the seat on yet?

It's just a race bike, if the panels don't fit I'm going to leave them off. The seat fits fine still
