So I'm making a list of maintenance as well as upgrades that I'm wanting to do to the girls this winter. Does anyone else write out a list? If so...what's on your guys' lists? It's always better to see more than one list that way if I forgot something. I'm curious to see what everyone else is doing to their bikes to enhance performance, appearance, as well as maintenance.

Might actually enjoy this winter since it's time for some serious upgrades.
Ohlins 25mm fork kit
Racetech internals for the rear shock
DID ERV3 520 chain
Driven alum rear/steel front sprockets
Woodcraft tire warmers
Woodcraft clipons
Also will be pulling the engine and will be replacing what ever looks worn out.

To many wishlist items but definite items are a -1/+2 set up with a new chain, speedoDRD, and pirelli corsa III's to start off the new season. Buying a house in a couple weeks so the bike items are on the backburner for now. If the opportunity arises then a PCIII, smog block offs, possibly a mid pipe or MJS header set-up. All those will be one big install so one they may be a compilation of buys before the install happens.

I know how you feel. I might be moving at the beginning of the riding season and have to start saving up for that. I want to get most of the basic maintenance out of the way and then to try and do some upgrades to them to get them all prettied up.

Are you going to pull the head and inspect internals? I could see that getting pricey...sweet list none the less.

My list
Install Fren Tubo Carbon lines
Fresh Brake fluid
Race glass
Continue rewiring the bike to eliminate unneeded circuits
Repair Bazzaz speedo plug, install map flip switch

So far all that I know that is done to the bike is Frame and spool sliders, fender eliminator, flush turn signals, HID headlights, K&N air filter...that's all I really remember. I think the first diy mod I'll do is def black out the front wind screen

ahhh the winter reset botton.

- Repack steering head, swingarm pivot, and lower linkage
- Replace dented swingarm
- Pull engine, YEC head gasket, sprockets, manual chain tensioner, blueprint
- New tune
- Replace calipers (easier than rebuilding when you have a fresh set lyin' around ;))
- Other routine maintenance like chain, brakes, cleaning, etc.
- Finish all body repairs
- New grips

Forks and shock have a fresh rebuild, otherwise they'd both be pulled and redone. Fresher is faster baby!

I may have to, it's not running right at all. I'm buying most of my stuff used suuuuper cheap, probably under 1500 for everything I listed.
