Winter is coming around fast in Minnesota. I've been looking for a few places to store my bike for the winter (i live on a college campus, so it wont be staying here). I found a heated facility that i can keep my bike in for $125 for the entire winter. Otherwise, i can store it for free at my friends garage.

Would spending the extra $125 to keep it in a warmer environment all winter be worth it? the price certainly is not alot compared to other heated storage facilities around here. Just looking for some input. Thanks!

I think $125 for a heated garage all winter season in the Minnesota area is WELL worth it. All the fluids (oil, coolant, gas) will remain in better shape along with the tires themselves. You will still want to remove the battery and keep it off the floor. Depending on what temperature they plan on keeping the bike in, you may want to keep the battery with you. I always remove mine and keep it in my spare parts closet over the winters.
