Primary items for Yamaha to provide ...

Offset Cylinders (friction reduction)
Factory quick shifter (for us track peeps)
Straight adjust rear axle (eliminates geometry change from axle position)
Multi-Map mode switch

Secondary items ...
ABS
Update bodywork (not sure how to improve on the existing, but a revamp might be welcome)
Oil sight glass
Rear Seat Cowl Included

gas gauge, oil gauge, hid projector headlights, REAL helmet lock, adjustable rearsets, black powdercoated rearsets, pass pegsand levers. better way of reducing or redirecting engine heat and thats about it for me of course new look would be awesome just hope they dont butcher the sexiness and aggressive look the r6 currently has

I think R6 is pretty good already (I'm talking strictly about track use - where I use mine).
I don't think it needs many updates.

I know I speak for most of us when I say it needs a rim jobber and a decrease in price.

I like the way the current R6 looks. The only change that I would make is to put the 09+ R1 headlight in it. Or maybe even the 03-09 R6s projectors with no plastic cover over the lens.

fuel gauge and sight glass

It'd be nice to have a full Ohlins suspension from the factory, but I don't ever see that happening.

Still dominating the track so I say just a fairing overhaul and it's good.
