Well... XT Racing is outta business, and their forums and tech resources are gone with them.

I've got a 2008 R6 (stock harness/ecu, not YEC) that I'm trying to install a GPX pro 8 datalogger on, it is not clear which ECU wires I need to tap for:
- Rider throttle position (as opposed to ECU commanded throttle position)
- Engine RPM

I have the service manual, but even from the wiring diagram it is not clear which wire from the TPS is the signal line, or which wire to the instrument cluster drives the rev counter.

I imagine this info would be pertinent to anyone trying to log on these bikes.

Thanks for your time everyone!

OK, I have a good reading from the TPS on the throttle cable pulley.

I used the white wire running to sensor. I tapped into it at the ECU. I reckon you could also use the white wire with red stripe, since it appears they are redundant, but this is what worked for me.

Still working on getting the RPM readout to work.

I was able to get everything working!

- GPX 8 is charging when bike is switched on
- RPM taken from ignition coil trigger (2x multiplier)
- rider throttle position taken from throttle cable cam position sensor
- brake pressure switch wired in

Everything is working right, I'll get it finalized and test it out at Thunderhill this upcoming Monday.

I'll post up some pics and a wiring diagram annotation to help out others trying to get this set up!

Hey Mulcibre,

Its a long shot, but can you tell me which ones you connect to?

I'm looking for TPS, RPM. I got 2 extra channel. I don't think I have pressure switch for my master. What else can it be wired to?
