What are the top 5 mods that any bike(R6) owner should do. They dont have to be the first 5, but what are the 5 things that you think need to be done.

Going in this order, 1 the first thign to be done and 5 the last. give a brief description of why also.

3) aftermarket air filter (goes w/ the reason, #4)
4) full exhaust (the better it breaths, the more HP)
5) power commander (to tune after numbers 3 & 4)

Hey Paytheon, how many hawks u guys got up there at your national guard base? I've got a trip to Afghan this december, and when I get back next year, I'm getting out around Fed 2010. Going to need some place to sign to for IRR status. Theres a helicopter school (Precision Aviation) right there in Newberg that I want to go to after I get out. I'll have to look you up when I get back there and we'll take the bikes out.

If your on a budget:

1. Gear + MSF Course
2. Frame Sliders
3. Fender Eliminator
4. Flushmounts
5. 520 Kit

That list will clean your bike up by removing some clutter and the 520 kit will add some needed low/mid-range power.

If your not on a budget and have 3-4 grand you want to blow, follow Paytheons redunkulous mod list:

1) Full Graves Exhaust
2) PC3
3) BMC Air filter
4) Ignition Module (PC3 Accessory)
5) Autoshifter (PC3 Accessory)
6) Smog block offs
7) Track tires
8) Velocity Stacks
9) Rims (light weight)
10) Aftermarket rearsets

6) Flushmounts
7) Steering Damper (I love my Hyperpro)
8) Exhaust - whether full sysytem or slip-on, but get rid of the cats
9) PC3
10) Sprockets (-1,+2) and Speedohealer

Gear isn't a mod, so I don't think it should be included. Though it is most important.
For me, it's:
(1) Fender eliminator
(2) Frame Sliders
(3) Exhaust
(4) Turn Signals
(5) Levers

And more stuff, but those are my top 5. I don't do track riding or anything, so top performance isn't exactly key.

We have 5 at Fort Lewis and 5 in Spokane. Plus, in Oregon there is like 7 in Salem (I couldn't get a slot there). Salem is a medivac unit. Fort Lewis, where I'm at, is slicks. Send me a PM and I can get you in if you want. Newberg is very close to where I live btw. I look forward to riding with you. Now I have somebody I can track with and drag to the gap once a year.

1. Frame Sliders
2. Fender Elim. + Flushies ( i would get em at the same time)
3. Windscreen
4. Scorpio i900 Alarm System
5. H.I.D.
6. Tank Pads
7. Clutch & Brake Levers
8. Galfer Wave Brake Rotors (front & rear)
9. Grips
9.5. Front and Swingarm Spools for #10
10. Rear & Front Stand
11. Tires
12. Gel Seat
After i enhance the physical appearance of the bike, thats when i start purchasing "go-fast" mods (i.e. PCIII, 520 chain kit, full exhaust, etc.)
I like my bike to look sleek and sexy, because if you think of it, A MOTORCYCLE is already fast to begin with lol. The security of your investment is also another important thing to consider. $400-500 alarm system, to me is worth it. Frame sliders are always my #1 thing to get FIRST. Because you never know when sh*t happens. For more insurance to yourself (the biker) i would get clutch sliders and bar end sliders too. Better safe than sorry right? HID is a must, i want to increase my visibility at night and be seen easier. Gear and MSF course is a must, but i dont think thats a modification. Unless you consider it modifying youself and your skill lol (idk just had to say that) I want to get my rims powder coated black because the gold rims just kill it. Tank pads to protect the tank from scratches and dents from zippers, belt buckles, etc.

1. (clean it up) remove reflectors, undertail and get protons and pig spotters
2. (crank it up) tune, intake/ exhaust.. muffler is fine, but lose the cat.
3. (gear it up) Kevlar clutch and 520
4. (shine it up) get rid of stickers/decals and add some TASTEFUL neon (this is easy to screw up), HID's
5. (back it up) ride like you don't have $h!t. don't be a squid.

In my dream....

1) Termignoni Full Ti. Comp. Exhuast - $2111.95

2) Power Commander III USB - $289.00

3) Scotts Rotary Steering Stabilizer Kit - $431.10

4) Carbon Fiber Wheels? (Along with all the other carbon fiber you can muster) - $4000+

5) Full Ohlins Suspension - $?

There are so many things out there its hard to choose, but I tried to think of what would have the most impact on performance.

Not that I would ever be able to complete anything like this but it would be pretty sick IMO.
