Alright, quick, probably dumb question:
what does the (C) mean? I'm assuming it doesn't mean Canadian-model, but it's like Yamaha's designation code for a particular year or model like, for example, a GSXR K7?
thanks all much

the C means its a 50 state legal bike. Its the only bike you should ever find in a dealership in california. If you ever plan to move to cali w/ the bike, its alot easier if its a C model. If you don't plan on living in cali, get the non C model. Less environmental shit.

Thanks guys. What all sets apart a C bike from a non-C bike, i.e. is it just emissions crap, or anything else?
As for the emissions crap, I'm more familiar with Suzukis (sorry), so is it basically a "P.A.I.R." system that has to be removed to make a C model (basically) a non-C model?
