I just got new Michelin Pilot Power 2ct's and I am currently running 36 psi for both the front and rear. My question is, is should I run lower pressures for both the front and rear when canyon riding?

I've heard many different opinions and even was shown this (don't know if it applies to the PP2ct's):

What would you guys recommend the 2cts or the pp??? Im starting to do a few track days..5-7 in the next 2-3 months. I also run canyons and play riding on the street...is there much of a difference between the two???

The only difference between the two is that the 2ct's have softer edges. From what I was told, the middle compound is the same. But the drawback in getting the 2ct's is that they're supposedly less compliant when it comes to road bumps, well that's what's being said. I've never tried the regular PP's, I went straight to the 2ct's, so I can't verify that.
