Good old fashion elbow grease!Just peel them off.I use this method all the time. Its easier then some may think.Just take patience.Getting the residue off(if any)is somtimes just as time consuming, but still not too difficult.

Depends on the size of the decal, i guess.I did the yamaha decal at the bottom of the lower fairings.Took about half an hour to 45 min.Even saved the letters for my toolbox.

i don't think you can take the one on the tank off since theres a clear coat over it.

i have an 04 r6 and hate the stripes; i'd take them off in heartbeat if i could do the ones on the tank too.

yea heat gun them then peel em off, should come right off with out leaving to much residue behind, and to get rid of sticky residue lacquer thinner should do the trick and should be safe to use as long as its a nice glossy finish, i've used lacquer thinner on trucks before to remove tape residue after doing spray in bed liners had no problem with paint. i would recommend waxing it after all that

the farings dont look like they'll be too hard, the tank is clear coated though, how do i get that off? or do i just have to have the tank painted?
