Ok so I don't own a R6, I am building my FZR into a fighter and using an R6 front and rear end. The question I have is about the rear end. Seen below is the rim I bought advertised as an 03-05 rear wheel. I was doing a little researched so I measured the wheel I have. It is a 5.5 inch wide wheel. When I was at one of the local shops, I measured the wheel on a 04' R6 and it was 6inchs wide. Both wheels look exactly the same but obviously one is 0.5inch wider. The guys at the shop were not sure what to tell me so I measured the width of the swing arm on the R6 at the shop to compare to my own. Both measure 10inches wide. So now I'm pretty confused.... can anyone tell me what my rim came off of? Even though both rims looked exactly the same is the 6inch wide rim in the shop off an R1 or aftermarket?
