Hey Guys,

I just installed my Power Commander V for my 2008 Yamaha R6 (Yes they do work on the 08 model. It is the same bike as the 09.). How ever I am new to the whole power commander thing. I did notice better throttle and better mid response.

I was wondering if anyone can give me a list of settings to really perform my R6. Right now I have a mid pipe (to get rid of the cat) and a slip on Yoshi pipe.

*Also note. I tried to download maps off of PowerCommander.com but it says it can not extract into the program files.*

Any help would be great!

thanks again,
Kasey

Ive a Graves full exhaust and GYTR air filter with PCV! And, Im running a Graves exhaust/aftermarket base map! Map is ok! The 6 runs a bit rich at idle, you can smell it! But, you gotta feel the power at/after 8000rpm!

Sometime, later this year, Ill be getting a custom map!

i have a pcv with auto tune and a akrapovic megaphone on my 07 with a mjsperformance header. i used a graves full system map as a base, and am letting the auto tune do the rest.

Your understanding is wrong. The MJS header completely removes the catalytic converter... You should look into this before recommending a map, seeing as how you are a site vendor and sell PCs.... Just sayin

redisdeadrideblue, you just having a bad day or what, cut me down on my bike now cut DynojetResearch down because of his lack of knowledge. all you had to do was tell him what a MJS header is, adding all the other "You should look into this before recommending a map, seeing as how you are a site vendor and sell PCs.... Just sayin" was a little rude
