Hey i was wondering if there was anyone who has done or know of anyone having put an 04 and newer R1 subframe onto an 07 R6. Or if anyone knows if it's even possible. i ask because i like the look of the R1 undertail exhaust but like the handling of the r6 so when i bought my bike they had an r1 right next to it and i thought it looked like i could just put the R1 rear end onto the R6. this is just an idea i've had any input would be appreciated thanks in advance

Anythings possible but I think it would add alot of weight. If you are good with a welder and a torch be the first to do it!
buy a r1 subframe and start welding and cutting im sure its possible. and if it comes out nice then i can bring my bike to you and pay you so you can switch mine to dual exhaust too :toocool:
interesting concept, I hadn't thought about it, but now that it's been brought up, Awesome Idea! Now I haven't bought my bike yet 
because I'm waiting for my mustang to sell. (here is a link in case you know anyone who is interested.) But, I know a great welder who owes me one. If no one has found anything out by the time my car sells I'll see what he can do.
