I just added this alarm to my bike and the dealer is telling me they put the Perimeter Sensor in. I am not able to set it off when near by but only when I touch the bike. Is ther a sensor that comes with this alarm that detects shock or is that the perimeter sensor?

the perimeter senser should be installed under the seat, ask them where they put it... then take the dust cover off and, with a screw driver, turn the dial under the cover, thats the sensitivity setting...mines about half way and it picks me up 3 feet away from the bike.
