CL Listing: Yamaha r6 2009 Raven edition - motorcycles/scooters - by owner -...
I found what seems to be a pretty nice bike on CL and I'm planning to go check it out this weekend, but this will be my first R6 and I'm somewhat unsure of the current value of these things. It seems like a decent deal based on the other bikes in my area, but let's see what you guys think!
Info from talking with the guy:
He's the second owner, and has had it for about 10 years.
He's done all the maintenance on it, and changed the oil, coolant, and spark plugs right when he got it. This is a good sign for maintenance history imo.
Never dropped nor laid down.
No mods.
I have a picture of the vin tag on the bike and the title. They match, title is clean. Ran a vin check on VINCheck® Lookup | National Insurance Crime Bureau and it shows not salvage nor stolen.
It's been garaged all of its life other than the last 5 months or so. It's been under an overhang and under a cover while it's been stored outside.
He uses Yamalube 10w-40 motorcycle oil.
So all that said, do you think it's worth the price?
