2011 R6 1st Oil Change

I've been riding '03 R6 for about 5 years now. Just picked up '11 R6 w/900 miles on it. It will be a track only bike & will put this baby to test on track day coming up soon.

I'm certain this bike has never had an oil change yet & needs to be done.

1. Manual says 10w30 or 20w40. Is 10w40 going to be ok?
2. I have Mobil 1 4T full synthetic 10w40 that I was planning on using on the '03. Do you guys recommend this oil for '11, 1st oil change?
3. Will 3 qt be enough for '11?

My '12 calls for 10w40 and I use mobil1 4t full sythetic. I bought the bike new and used this oil since its first oil change.

I'm no expert and hopefully the experienced guys chime in here with their advice. I think you should be fine but wait for the other guys input.

As long as the oil filter sounds bitching you should be fine.
