So i just bought a 2013 r6 last month and am having some issues with it nothing major just minor. I hope at least. So the problem i am experiencing with my bike is after a couple of days of not riding and my bike sitting in the garage i go to start it up and put it in first gear and then it stalls on me. But after awhile i let it warm up and theres nothing wrong with it. I have a feeling its the injectors or something but am not totally sure. I know that the newer bikes don't need to be warmed up and should start and shift right when u start them up anyone have any idea what the problem is???

Just spit ballin here with ya, but does it only happen when you drop it into first (clutch in or out)? Does the bike start and idle just fine? Are you starting it up cold and immediately riding? I believe if it was a bad or clogged injectors you would have difficulties starting and it would be a constant problem not just when cold, and unless your running some really crappy fuel through your bike I can't imagine a 2013 already having bad injectors. Can you only replicate the problem exactly as you described it?

It is always a good idea to give them a little time @ idle. You never really want to start it and then immediately take off. There is still a condition known as "Open Loop" that occurs immediately after start-up and the ECM has not yet seen a certain temp yet. Once it sees the temp it needs, the system goes into a "Closed Loop" mode and the O2 sensor starts switching. Then, the proper air fuel mix can be achieved since the ECM is getting the signal from the O2 sensor (And various other inputs). It does not have to be hot, but do give it just a little bit. Just some food for thought.:cheers
