Block off plates with stock headers/cat?

I have a full exhaust system with block off plates and PCV but have still been getting loud back firing pops on decel around 2k rpms, sometimes upper range. Tried several maps but none helped the pops.

Was thinking of sticking my stock headers back on to see how if that helps but would this be an issue with block off plates installed?

Thanks

No issue. You aren't getting air injection so maybe you are running really rich and exhaust temps are igniting the fuel.

Thx for the reply. The last thing I had tried was putting it back to zero map but it still did the same thing. Double checked my plates to make sure they were right and didn't see any exhaust leaks. If it's not an issue I'll see how it is with stock headers

Mine has stock headers with m4 muffler delete. I turned off the ais solenoid. Not going back in until the air cleaner and plugs are due to install block offs. I very rarely get any pops, when it does it is above 8k and snapping the throttle shut gets a couple weak pops. Not consistent but I have active tune controlling my afr table.
