easiest way to replace windscreen?

What's the easiest procedure to change the windscreen. Do you need to take off the upper or can you just unscrew the windscreen mounting screws and pull the windscreen out? I thought it might save me some time and headache and ask those who have done it before :drink

edit: forgot to mention this is for a NON-S version

For my 05...all I did was unscrew all the windscreen bolts and pull the windscreen out. Just take your time with putting in the new screen and you should have no problem!

I took mine off and its just a few phillips head screws that are easy to get to and take the mirrors off.

yeah, i just removed the mirrors and windscreen bolts. be careful when you bend back the upper fairing.

I'd say, that has got to be the easiest way!:toocool:

seriously, It's just a few screws that you take off just what the others have mentioned. shouldn't be a big deal.
