2400cc (2.4 liters) I had to look in the book the first time ... then I noticed it says 2400cc right under the oil fill hole. According to the manual that it the total amount it can hold filter included. To be safe dump 2 liters in then check and add as needed. Take your time, because it will go from below the add line to above the full line before you know it.

no shit i checked the oil level when level theni found out 2 check it on the kick stand i han 2 much in when it was level.

 

ur supposed to check it when it's level, so ur good.

Destruction Manual ? LOL Most pple do not and I have seen warranties voided because of it.

When I had my shop some years back, we were at a training seminar and one of the Instructors got up and asked for the oil change interval for a specialized piece of equipment. Everyone that answered was wrong.

He held the manual in the air opened up and pointed to a page saying, "On page XX, it says every..."

Although they can't void a warranty for lack of maintenance, the idea was that people were griping about premature wear and having to buy a new engine when most of them were 2 times OEM Recommended interval with petroleum oil on an engine that didn't have an oil filter.

Read Your Manual. Not having one is no excuse.. Go Buy One. The average Owners Manual is written at a 6th Grade Level. That is why most of have a hard time understanding them... LOL

That is also why I don't believe in "Search". There could have been wrong information posted and, also, the fact that New information would never come to the forefront.

I use just shy of 3 ever time I oil change. But I usually put 2.5L in and check the dip stick.. since they have not yet bothered to do a view window on a r6... Then add a smidge til its near the full line. Run it a min.. Then re-check....

Measure level is also agreed. NOT on kickstand....
