jluna9657 is right, the dark smoke is pretty damn dark. At night I can barely see through mine when I have my dark smoke visor in my Arai. Granted I don't ride at night with that visor in, I hope it gives you an idea. I've actually been thinking about going to light smoke.

 

mine is a zero gravity DB black smoke.
its super dark, i like it a lot.
